Zed Williamson, Founder of TrackableMed

Zed Williamson is Founder of TrackableMed, an acceleration platform for private medical practices. He explains how the Coaching Group provided him with tools for his business and  helped him put them into action for results.

The biggest impact from the group has been “here are the tools and how to put them to use,” as opposed to it just being theory floating out in the ether. We can share with a group of people who have a lot of the same issues, that sometimes we don’t always have someone to talk to about.

Before joining the group, there were certain things that I thought about the business that I knew were important, but I didn’t really know how to look at them and measure from a standpoint of what is good and what is bad and what we need to act on.

Soon after the first meetings of the group, we started focusing heavily on KPIs that before we knew were important, but we didn’t really know what was good or how to measure it, and now we are drilled down on them. I really enjoyed all the group meetings. There was one specifically that focused on creating a repeatable process for hiring, and that group session was amazing. I ran out of that meeting to my HR person, and we started implementing the tools. It’s a game changer.

I’ve learned a lot from the group. It’s fun. I’m curious, but it has to produce, and it has. We care about EBITDA, and just in one quarter, we’ve seen our EBITDA go up eight points.

If you’re thinking about joining the group and you may be wondering to yourself, “are you getting any value?” I thought the same thing. It’s an investment of money. It’s an investment of time. It’s really what you put into the group that’s going to create the outcome.

The information, it’s an absolute no-brainer. You will get the outcome as long as you execute. So, if you’re on the fence and you know that you’re going to do the work, then you’ve got to do it.
